About Me

Creating with Light....

“Photography to the amateur is recreation, to the professional it is work, and hard work too, no matter how pleasurable it might be.”

.~ Edward Weston

My experience began in Peru at age of 16, doing surfing photography and working in my darkroom that I built in my grandfather’s garage. Shortly after, I started doing travel photography, photojournalism and fell in love with street photography.

I Studied History of Art for a year at Brookside College in Cambridge, England; after that I moved to Northern California, where I studied four years majoring in photography at California College of the Arts, in Oakland. Today I live in La Jolla, California, and have a photography studio in Old Town San Diego. (Bazement Studio)

My mission as photographer, is to provide my clients with the best possible experience in all my assignments. I want to capture your vision, through my eye and my cameras, represent your creation, or tell your story with beautiful images. Achieving that goal, is the most important and fulfilling aspect of my job. The attention to detail that comes with over 30 years of experience, helps ensure my clients satisfaction.

When your job is complex and requires full production team, being associated with a group of experienced, driven professionals, makes achieving that goal, much easier.
